The puppies were left at home while we were gone last week. Our neighbors take care of them and they enjoy it, however are not excited when they see us packing up the suit cases. As you can tell by the photos.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day
While the official holiday isn’t until Wednesday, the celebration in these parts has begun. Saturday Tybee Island had there St. Patty’s day parade and we went to our friends Jay and Sue’s place on Tybee.
In the evening they served Low Country Boil.
The Hilton Head celebration is today, but we are doing house cores instead. And of course Wednesday’s big celebration in Savannah will have over 400,000 people there but we will not be two of them. While almost every busy and every school shutdown Wednesday we will both be working.

Happy Birthday Austin
As of Monday, this handsome man is now 30.
The actually night of his birthday he and I both randomly had to work at ~4:00 am and were home around 2:00 so we were able to spend the day watching movies and going DQ. And he picked out a lizard cake to remind us all that he still is young at heart.
The next night to celebrate we met with friends at a Hibachi grill just down the road and are planning a cruise shortly with a group.

Boogity Boogity Boogity
If you don’t watch NASCAR you won’t know what that means so I’ll translate, “The Race is Starting.”
Chris, myself and Steve were able to go to the Atlanta Motor Speedway yesterday and watch the Cup NASCAR race. It was a great race and a fun day.
Brent and Austin went and golfed 18 holes but no pictures from their activities. And as you can tell from the pictures the warm Georgia sun has returned and we are loving the sunny days and heat.

Living Room Paint Job
Before…
After…
Austin and I (and Brent some) spent a weekend painting the living room. The previous color was a yellowish color that wasn’t our taste. We wanted to have a gray color on the walls. It isn’t exactly what we wanted despite painting large samples and spending a lot of time researching, but we think it is better and close so we’re happy. Top priority now is a painting for above the fireplace.
