Every winter when spring arrives in February it reminds us of why we love Georgia weather. In general, it is nice 70 degree sunny weather and it couldn't have come any later with the extra cold winter this year. Now on to update you on our recent activities.
Last weekend we had Maddox (Max) visit with us for most the day Saturday so his parents could go and enjoy Mike's birthday.
I expected Jeremiah to be a little jealous because he is kind of a sensitive mama's baby. However he surprised me by being thrilled to wake up to Max in his room and wanted to play with him non stop.
Z man enjoyed playing with him as well, but it didn't last as long before he was on to other activities.
Even when I was feeding Max his bottles Jeremiah wanted to hang out with him.
It was pretty cute to see them together.
Then after church on Sunday to enjoy the beautiful weather we went to the wine and chocolates event at Butterducks winery. We enjoy it there because it is basically a huge back yard for the boys to play in and they provide gold fish crackers to snack on for the kids.
Zachary and Jeremiah spent a lot of the time playing with our friend's boys Joey and Matty. It really is helpful to have other kids around that enjoy playing with them.
Looking like a big boy in his rugby shirt, but in desperate need of a hair cut.
As I was putting Z in bed Saturday night he asked if we could see Ms Michelle and have her get his hair out of his face and look cute. It was adorable and sad all at the same time.
We already had a haircut appointment for Tuesday afternoon to allow Zachary to "get cute."
And Jeremiah to get cute as well.
Ms Michelle is our next door neighbor who's son Brannon is a little younger than Zachary. It is nice to have them be able to play in the front together already.
Celebrating a well behaved haircut with a sucker from Ms Michelle. I honestly have never seen one kid let alone two chill out and relax to get their hair cut. Is this normal? I am not sure why they are good with it, but I am happy that hair cut time is a fun experience.
