Daufuskie

Our vacation of the month club went to a close by island called Daufuskie , as see in previous posts, for the past weekend.  The top photo on our blog was taken on the dock at Daufuskie at sun set while a boat pulled away. 

It was Jelly fish season, not cool.  Only one of us got stung and he is a surfer who gets stung all the time, so it wasn’t bad.

And this picture shows some writing from our first trip to Daufuskie.  Brent wrote Go Vandals, Piper wrote Piper and I wrote Austin. 

No vehicles on the island so we cruise around in golf carts.

Race for the Cure

We had a group that did the Coastal Georgia Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this morning. 

In total there were over 5000 people who participated in the 5k and it is only the second year Savannah has had a race.

Visit from Family

My parents, Uncle Jim and Aunt Rhona have been visiting with us for the past week.  We took pictures the first day and then didn’t get the camera out again.  We spent a lot of time relaxing on the back porch and visiting which was nice for us.
