Water Day

Normally on Memorial Day weekend we go in with a few friends and rent a big water slide and play all day.
Zachary was a rock star swimming with the noodle and of course didnt want to leave the pool.

Jeremiah did wonderful walking around playing with the large number of balls around the yard.  He swam a little, but preferred to walk around.

Z man enjoyed the little pool at the bottom of the slide but didnt want to ride the slide.
Fun, water day and the boys were exhausted when we came home!

Beach Weekend

To celebrate our progress in "The Totsl Money Make Over" or FPU, Austin and I planned a weekend island trip.  We decided our local islands were as good as any and short drives is a plus with the kids.  So we stayed at the Marriott on Hilton Head and enjoyed a wonderful weekend.  The beach is still Zachary's all time favorite place to be.

Mike, Katie and Max as well as Shawn, Michelle and Olivia spent the day with us on Saturday, another perk of staying local.

Jeremiah making his life plans, such a chill one he is.

Nap time in the pool.

Bear and Olivia finding treasures.
We ate muffins beach side for breakfast and were able to be almost alone on the beach for the early morning hours as the tide went out.
Watching the tide
Exploring the "hammock farm"

Brothers hug!  We collected shells as the tide went out, it was a peaceful morning.

Then we headed pool side for snacks and swim time.
Not a bad place to be!

Did I mention he is chill?  What one year old finds a lounge chair and relaxes watching his brother swim?

And snuggles with daddy.

Some Brittish friends played dove stick games with Z for a while which was fun for him.
He was a non stop water boy!

Attempting a pose in front of the sand castle while daddy loaded the car.  Saturday night dinner was too late after a hard day of play so that was rough but the trip overall was an well deserved refresher for our family after a couple years of discipline doing "The Total Money Make Over."

Sunday Afternoons

I am delinquent in blogging, but I should start with quick easy blogs from the iPad to give you a glimpse into our day.

And we started the afternoon reading in the backyard during naptime, then were joined by our babies.

This boy has required extra patience as we eliminate whining. Some days he is an angel and amazing help and so much fun to be able to have a conversation with him. Others he is a complete mess pushing my low patience level. This morning was rough, but after church and naptime he is a functional communicator again

This boy is too sweet. Always chill and loves to hug and cuddle. I hope he somehow skips the tantrum stage all together and if any child could I think it would be him.

Cheese!

I hope you enjoyed your Sabbath as well!
