Keeping the video post going for a little while here is a video of Z dancing. For about an hour he pushed the button on the Octopus to start a song and then looked at us and started dancing. Of course when we finally got the camera he didn’t do it as well, but you get the point.
For his birthday Z received a Thomas the Train ride on toy from Brent, Josh and the Poulios’. He immediately stood up behind it and started pushing it around the house with him walking behind. I tried to get a video later in the day but it isn’t as good.
And here are some pictures from relaxing in the back yard time last weekend. We have been doing a lot of neighborhood walks and resting in the shade in the back yard. It is a perfect time of year to be outside.

Our Little Charmer
We started the day off upstairs with presents from us and our family.
Opening his new puzzles, which he loves to take the pieces out of and carry around.
He is bored with the turtle raincoat, but we liked it.
He loves his giant turtle!
Then Z took a couple hour nap and we prepared for the party.
We had a piñata for the older kids to stay entertained and get prizes from.
After the piñata we moved to the cake eating event which was a disaster as you saw previously in the video.
Notice the cake is gone because he threw it.
Austin gave Zachary a quick bath and then we moved to present time.
It was great to have the older kids there, as you see Piper doing in the above picture, they would do the work to get the toys out of the packaging and down to a toy he can play with after Z opened out of the bags.
Then Z put on his special birthday shirt that his Mama and Dada got for him.
And as people starting to leave the core group began a game of kickball that lasted quit a while.
Followed by an end of the night fire and s’mores once Zachary was fast asleep. It was a fun day from start until finish and a wonderful year for us with Baby Z!
Here is just the video of him playing with his cake. He ended up throwing it on the ground because he hated it, but Austin stopped the video before that took place. There will be many more pictures to come later today.
These pictures and videos are from a weekend breakfast from about a month ago, but better late then never.
And even though this video is a month old the fighting before he even tries food is something we still deal with on a nightly basis. The only things that go down without a struggle are yogurt or puffs.
Then after breakfast Zachary spent some time crawling around the house.
Chasing the dogs and cat (which is a regular event)
And watching out the window.
It is odd to see him all bundled up since we have change so much since then. The grass is green and growing again and winter is over, we are in our comfortable 70 degree weather phase.
