Beaver Puppies

Roger is in town this week and we spent last night watching the Beavers game.  Unfortunately the offensive line didn’t understand how to protect against the Broncos defense, but the Puppies put on their best Beaver Believer outfits anyway.

 

Roger and Daisy and her dog fitted hoodie. 

Bo and a hand me down shirt from Austin, that he has worn a few times. 

Bo thinks something really fun and exciting is going on during the few times a year they wear costumes (Halloween and Beaver gear) so he is all fired up and walking around proudly.  Daisy is mostly just confused on what she is suppose to do with this thing on. 

House Reorganizing

We had our last planned visitors come over Labor Day and wanted to get consolidate rooms so we have a room ready to store all the new things we are getting. 

Here is the guest bedroom before:

And now a mostly empty room ready to be set up for the baby.  The mirror still needs to be moved.

And here is the new guest bedroom in the room the office use to be in.

There is an empty half of the room that has toys in it now. 

We got rid of the full sized bed upstairs otherwise we just rearranged things to make room.  We also cleaned out the closets and combined two closets into one so we had an empty closet in the baby’s room.

We also had to move the puppies into the laundry room for sleeping time.  There is room for them upstairs but it is a lot warmer up there especially in the summer so we wanted to keep them in the always air conditioned portion of the house. 

St. Augustine

We spent the weekend in St. Augustine with our friends Darin, Erica and Eli. 

St. Augustine reminded us both of a smaller, calmer version of Charleston.

Eli of course enjoyed Austin like all children do. 

On Sunday we went to the Broncos/Jaguars game in Jacksonville. 

There were more Broncos (or at least Tebow) fans in the parking lot we tailgated in then Jaguar fans.   We watched the teams warm up on the field from the fan zone.

The heat index was 100 for the first 3 quarters of the game so I had to take breaks in the shade a few times. 

Then the afternoon thunderstorm hit and we had a 45 min delay for lighting and it poured (we waited inside during this).  We watched the 4th quarter in a dry but cool atmosphere before grabbing dinner and heading home for the day.  Unfortunately the Broncos lost but we had a fun weekend anyway. 

Savannah Girls Weekend

My mom and sister came to Savannah for the holiday weekend.  We spent a relaxing weekend visiting downtown, Tybee and visiting out our house.
