Saturday we fished in the Savannah Sport Fishing Club Ladies Fishing tournament. It was rough seas just under the level which would have cancelled the tourney due to weather and we went ~2o miles off shore.
Unfortunately Austin is sensitive to motion sickness and wasn’t able to do anything but nap and try not to get sick again all day. Even me who doesn’t get car sick was not feeling great until the fish started biting, then I forgot all about the sickness.
We left our house at 3:30 am and the weigh in didn’t end until 7:00 pm. So it was a long day but a blast and in the end the ladies on Slammer II (our friend’s boat) took home 1st and 3rd.
Above is Austin, me, R.J., Kerri and Steve in front of the weigh in scale and board. As always it was a good day on the water, even Austin thought so in the end, mostly because he was happy for me to have a great time.
The pictures on the boat with the fish will be posted later when I get them.

Congratulations on the big win!! I suppose Austin will be BBQing some fish now. Wish we could join you!
