Good Little Chick

DSCN7004

We have a Baby’s First Year Calendar up on the wall in Zach’s room that we are documenting momentous events on (or trying to).

Then when my mom is here next week she is going to help me put it all into his baby book because I am not good at that type of thing and she is.  We also have a large list of house/yard work for her and papa to help us with.  We are looking forward to their visit!

So can you read the milestone he achieved last night?

That’s right, he skipped his night time feeding and slept 7 hours (which is as long as the doc said to let him for now).  Both Austin and I slept for 7 hours in one stretch last night…ahhh.

Unfortunately he is spitting up still, we just had a 2 day break and it returned in full force.  We are working on different feeding techniques to minimize the volume and frequency of spit ups.  Also our pediatrician suggested we try sensitive formula to see if that helps.  The next step would be medicine to minimize the bubbling up of stomach acid.  And the poor kid gets hiccups all the time, they don’t seem to bother him, but I feel bad for him.

Here are a few other pics from the week.

Way to go Zach!! (He's practicing for when Nana and Papa get there so he can sleep all night on their turns to get up!)

We missed you all yesterday, but I'm glad you had a nice Easter.
See you soon!
