We started the holiday weekend by going to our friend's house and all chipping in to rent a large water slide. I forgot the camera, but here is the picture Libby sent of Z making his own ship with a float in the middle of their yard, but it was cute.
The slide that came this year wasn't as much fun, it didn't have an air padding, just the water pool at the bottom. 12 to 24 inches of water does not take enough force away from the fall to make it a comfortable landing. We didn't let that ruin the day though.
Sunday we went to church and got caught up around the house, allowed the boys to nap normally and just rest.
Monday we went out to Hilton Head for breakfast. We hadn't been there before but Stacks turned out to be perfect for the family outing. Good food, somewhat noisy to cover up any noises from our group and swift service. The boys wore the same size clothes 24 month shirts and shorts. Of course they fit differently, but still, crazy.
Jere was feeling left out not sitting at the table with the rest of us.
Happy as a clam once he was able to sit up and see Austin and Z with me. Silly baby, so in love with his family. We did a few quick errands and then went home, we did question why we were not going to the beach for the afternoon, but half a day of activity is about Zachary's max without getting too tired and breaking down.
