First day we arrived and went to LegoLand Discovery Center.
The pictures became out of order when they uploaded and I am not going to correct. This is before leaving our home in Savannah Zachary received one of his presents, a new crane truck. Crane trucks are his current obsession.
Jeremiah sizing up the lego people.
The Discovery Center was a very age appropriate for Zachary (and Jeremiah), too much older and they would want bigger or more, but perfect for their age.
They had an entire lego built city of Atlanta on display which we played with for a while, this is our hotel, The Westin PeachTree done up in Legos.
Nana and Zachary prepare for the flight ride.
Now this jumps to day 2 at Stone Mountain, climbing around the rope center was Zachary's favorite activity, probably of the entire trip.
It was hard for the rest of us to keep up without getting too tired or hot.
Back at Legoland posing with the Lego Men.
Mid-flight with Zachary and Papa.
We took a real train ride all around stone mountain.
The third day we went to the Georgia Aquarium.
Back at Stone Mountain Jeremiah chillin' in a hole on top of the world's largest piece of granite looking over the city.
The rope course Z loved.
The city of Atlanta, the far left round building is our hotel and the second to the right pink building is the Georgia-Pacific center. If you look at the top you can see the GP logo. This is home away from home for me. I get to stay here frequently for work so we knew our way around and good restaurants, etc.
Back at the aquarium enjoying the turtles swim.
Jere getting excited when the otter swam past.
Zachary and Austin went into the penguin display to get a close up view.
The last day was raining and cold so we explored the World of Coke. All of the place we visited except Stone Mountain were within a couple blocks of the hotel, normally it was a nice easy stroll. Although the rain was a bit of a challenge.
After the World of Coke we spent some time at the hotel opening presents and having Z's official birthday party since it was his actual 3rd birthday on the last day.
A new lego train from Nana and Papa.
Then it was time for Nana and Papa to take the MARTA to the airport and us to get the car to drive home.
We started a birthday interview to do each year and keep to see home the babies change over the years. Here is Zachary's from his 3rd birthday.
That evening at home we had some official "Happy Birthdays" (most people call cupcakes) and spent time opening cards and gifts from others.
Z had some face time with Grandpa and Grandma while he enjoyed his "happy birthday" and opened a present from them.
He received a big boy bike from Austin and me as his other present. Ready to pass the balance bike down to Jeremiah.
Me interviewing Zachary for his birthday interview sheet. He cracked me up while we were doing this, so seriously into the activity.
Happy Third Birthday Baby Z!

Thank you for showing us all the wonderful pictures! The Atlanta trip looks really fun, I especially like the photo of Austin and Z in the penguin scene.
