Thanks for Tropical Storm Fay, our PDX to Orlando direct overnight flight that would take about 5 hours, ended up being a 26 hour trip that got us back to Savannah (we plan to go to Orlando soon to pick up the car). Brent kindly picked us up at the airport at Mid-night Tuesday despite all of us having to go to work in the morning. Here are some shots of Austin and me enjoying a lay over in DC.

The puppies did well and were VERY happy we were home.
It has been cloudly, windy and rainy here the past couple days, but there are sun breaks today. We are at the North end of Fay's range so we did not receive to0 much rain or major flooding. It really is like a typical windy rainy December week in Oregon (but 30-40 degrees warmer). We are looking forward to a blue sky day again soon and thankful we did not get hit hard.

Have to number again cause I have lots to comment on.
1. How is it that you and Austin always look so fresh and clean while traveling? Okay, now I have Outkast in my head...
2. @ esther - 38 degrees and raining in January is not fabulous.
3. Awwww, your fluff's got cuter while you were away! How is that even possible?
4. Go New York football Jets!
5. "Aint nobody dope as me, I'm dressed so fresh so clean."
You are a fruit cake, I laughed hard at these.
You've got to explain about the car...so, you left it in Florida?
Yeah, we are planning a trip to Aquatica (SeaWorld's water park) and Animal Kingdom (Disneyworld) sometime soon with out friends. We'll ride down with them and drive our car home, which will allow both families room on the way home for a needed stop at Costco in Jacksonville =).
