Happy Birthday Daisy

Daisy's Adoption Date was December 28th. To celebrate we went to Hilton Head beach (we adopted her from the Hilton Head Humain Society) with the puppies. It was quit crowded for December, there probably are a lot of visitors over the holiday week. As a result Bo and Daisy did not get to spend as much time off leash as we would like, but they did get a decent run and swim in.

What? I wasn't rolling my head in the sand.

Daisy is a FRUIT CAKE swimmer. She loves the water and runs right in, but doesn't quit get it yet. Swimming is more like flopping around like a fish our of water for Daisy. One man jogging by stopped, took out his head phones and said, "now that I'll laugh at, that's funny." Pictures don't do it justice, but we tried.

Left over Christmas Eve dinner (Hoagie Sandwhiches) made a perfect pic-nic.

Austin and his pupps.

Me and my Buddy.

It looks like such fun (although not at all Decemberish!). They are both such adorable, nice pups - wish we could see them more!

Does it ever get cold there? It seems like you guys are always in short-sleeve shirts.

It gets cold for a few days at a time. It even gets below freezing so Austin starts my truck in the morning and we wear big coats those two days of the year. January is the coldest with the average high being 60 and the low is 45, not bad, it does feel like winter though then.

That looks like such a fun day at Hilton Head beach. What a good idea, to take the puppies there to celebrate Daisy's adoption day.
