Zach’s First Road Trip

 

Top 5 things about Zach’s First Road Trip:

1. The family got to spend a lot of time together compared to a normal week.

2. Zach got to see his Aunt Erica and meet Dan.

3. The hotel was paid for by Austin’s work because he was in a training class there (Fort Bragg).

4. I was able to wear my Mother’s Day necklace from Zach (aka Austin).

5. The puppies didn’t dig in the new seating area even without us here and being outside all day. 

Worst 5 things about Zach’s first road trip:

1. It was to Fayetteville, North Carolina

3. The jerk (edited from what I would like to say since this is a family blog) in the room next to us decided to make his non-smoking room into a smoking room after we went to sleep and it came through the door that connected our rooms.  I woke up with a sore throat, burning eyes feeling sick.  Very worried about our baby doll, but he didn’t seem to be bothered, and the hotel moved us into a suite to make up for it. 

4. It was hazy from a forest fire on the outer banks.

5. We missed the puppies and Bo was sick when we returned home, poor puppy. 

We are home now ready to start a nice long weekend.
