Jeremiah's First Birthday Party

We celebrated our littlest baby turning one on Sunday, October 20th, with a party with friends.  On his actual birthday, Monday, October 21st, we had a family celebration in his honor.  Be prepared for lots of pictures, our littlest turning one was a big event for us.

The chalk art on the driveway was an added bonus.

Everything, literally everything, was yellow & gray.

The Cake, not what I ordered, but better than what it was when I went to pick it up that morning.   And since it was Publix and they messed up, they gave it to us free of charge.  The gray gum balls in mason jars holding up signs were on the food table and center pieces holding balloons.  There were also jars of large lemon heads holding up signs but I don't think I have a picture of those.

Some of his cute little guy outfits hung along the top of the wall.

Give aways, books and puzzles for the younger kids and candy bars for the older kids.

Baby food jars with the lids spray painted gray filled with small lemon heads an elephant tag were fantastic paper weights for all types of items.

Our friends from small group have a trailer with white tables and chairs we were able to borrow which was much needed and appreciated.

Seriously, all playing on Ipods.

I forced them to stop and look up for 10 seconds.

A jar with lemon jolly ranchers...

'Miah's smash cake turned out great.

Proud dada.

They were having so much fun with the balloons he almost didn't want his cake...almost.

Jeremiah jumped right in to his cake with his hands.  It took a minute for him to actually eat it, but he dug in right away.

Zachary eagerly waiting for his turn to help Jere with his cake.

Zachary, Jeremiah and I all wore gray and yellow to match the party (Daddy did not play along).

He destroyed the smash cake.

But he kept himself relatively clean.

Here is a video of him eating his cake.

While Jeremiah was being cleaned up we played a game with the guests.  Classic family outing game, three legged race.

Cleaned up and snuggling with Daddy.

Jere Bear is such a sweet, calm little baby, we are very blessed to have his snuggly self in our family.

He was not too interested in opening presents.  He did open some and was able to open them, but he didn't have much interest in doing so.

Eating a coloring book at the coloring table.  Mmmm.

He did have fun playing in one of his presents from our friends.

And Zachary had fun helping clean up the party.

Jeremiah One banner up close.

We had a wonderful party to celebrate an amazing little guy.

Such a cute party!! Love the colors, theme, etc. Are those yellow suitcases (with the books and candy bars) yours? So cute!!
And what a nice idea to give gifts to the party goers!

Sure wish we could have been there!
