As I put in the last post we took a couple days vacation to prepare the nursery for Baby X. While it is no where near done, it took a lot of work for us to remove everything out of there because the new nursery was our guest bedroom. Now we will have a nursery a baby room and no guest bedroom. So we had to get rid of the furniture either by selling it or moving it and reorganize all the stuff in the closet (wrapping paper, bags, etc) into the attic. On Thursday we were able to completely dismantled the guest bedroom into an empty room and then Friday was spent putting together the new crib, dresser and bookshelf (not pictured it is in the closet). Over the weekend we also worked on picking out décor and what else will go in there. We decided to do a yellow and orange room with a giraffe focus (hence the rug we purchased). Next up will be getting all the supplies like changing table pad, sheets, towels, etc and the décor up.
As you can see there is no letter on the wall above the crib, we still are calling him Baby X as we try to determine what his actual name will be.
Today we went to church then relaxed outside most the afternoon.
Austin has done a great job finding the right mix to remove the weed and get the grass in better shape this year and we are enjoying it.
Z pushing the noise portion of the picture frame from Nana and Papa. He plays with this every time we are in the yard and loves it.
Play ball! We went to the minor league Savannah Sand Gnats team game on Friday night with the Doten’s. It was the first time Zachary, Piper or Taylor had been to a baseball game and probably the last for Piper. Despite the junk food dinner at the concessions stand she didn’t seem to have a good time. Zachary enjoyed it and especially the ceiling fans in the stadium that have blades probably 12 feet long. I should have taken a photo of the fans.
Waiting for the game to start, we got there early because it was Army Corps of Engineers night and the head guy at the construction division (where Austin works) threw out the opening pitch.

I LOVE THAT RUG!!! IT IS PERFECT!
I also love that Zach actually plays with the frame. That was the best .25 I ever spent! I want him to know our voices.
Love you all!
