Hurricane Sandy brought us two days of cloudy windy weather on Saturday and Sunday, then on Monday it was back to the normal Fall bright blue sky, but the temperature dropped dramatically. It is supposed to be in the 40’s again for Halloween tonight and is only in the 60’s for a high…so bring on the adorable bundled up little boys.
Kerri brought Zachary this Georgia shirt to the hospital as a congrats on your baby brother gift, so that along with his red puffy vest makes his a true Bull Dogs fan for the day. I have no clue why he is making this face at Austin, but it makes me laugh.
This kid is crazy about scare crows. We had this one on the front porch but it turned around in the wind and was looking in the window. He freaked out and wanted it. The week before Jeremiah was born he and I would go outside in the late afternoon and he would play with the scarecrow until Austin came home, if I tried to come in before Austin came home it was a guaranteed tantrum. We ended up buying him a second scarecrow for inside that sits up high on the shelf and he asks for it almost every morning first thing. I am sure next Fall he won’t even notice they exist, but it is interesting the types of things they just love for no reason known to us.
Unfortunately this appears to be the face Zachary makes when he realizes his picture is being taken. Not quit the sweet, cute little baby face I would prefer for a picture and more of a wrinkled nose awkward tooth smile. Speaking of teeth, in the past three weeks all of Zachary’s teeth have come in, at least al that we can see. He might be missing a molar or two in the way back, but he got about 8 teeth all at once in no time. And of course slept like a champ through the entire thing. He is an amazing baby.
Again the camera face…hopefully it won’t last long.
We were taking turns watching Zachary and unpacking all the different hospital and Zachary overnight and Austin’s trip bags that we had just dumped in the garage until we had more time.
